Escort Card Idea

Ok, so I love to think outside of the box and try new designs and ideas. My favorite idea for an escort card right now are my precious birds. It was so easy and totally unique! I found these styrofoam birds at a craft store. Originally they were red, but my lovely husband spray painted them black to fit my table theme. After these precious fliers were dry, I sliced a cut behind their head, on top of their back and slid in a card. With these guys pearched on a plate, they give off a distinct vibe of vintage classic while directing guests to their seats!

Beauty Products!

Ok, so I have had frizzy/curly/crazy hair all my life. I have been on a lifelong search for the perfect beauty product. My drawers are full of curlers, curling irons, flat irons, hair dryers and diffusers. I have tried every product imaginable. I still have fizzy/curly/crazy hair, despite all of the money I have spent on said products. I finally found my perfect product. I wanted to share it with you because it is a GREAT way to do your own hair on your wedding day. Now, I'm sure most of you want to go to a professional and be pampered and done up on your wedding day, but just in case you are a full on, DIY bride then this is for you. I found a new curling iron called Ginalli Millano. I was totally sold, hook line and sinker from one of those carts at the mall. But it WORKS like a champ! check out the pics and see for yourself!

Mustache Madness

well, here he is. My husband...

Bridal Expo

The Brideworld Expo 2009 was off the hook! Woot Woot! When I first got there, I didn't really know what to expect. But after seeing booth after booth of wedding related shinanigans, I got in the groove right away! I decided to set up a mock reception table in my booth. I was in a fabric store and came across a piece of fabric that was black and white, with a cute little yellow sparrow perched on a branch. That little guy became my inspiration for the display I made for the show. I would LOVE to do an entire wedding based on this display! It was really fun getting my creative juices flowing. We shared a booth with the fabulous ladies from Flower DIYvas, a workshop for DIY brides. Thanks girls for all of the help and fun! Here are some Do-It-Yourself pics!
